What is The Preppy PNG?
The Preppy PNG is a digital design marketplace and membership created for boutique owners, stationery designers, apparel makers, embroidery businesses, print-on-demand sellers and other creative small businesses.
Our collection includes PNG clipart, seamless patterns, templates, mockups, printables and other digital design resources. Products may be purchased individually, or you can join our membership to access eligible products at no additional cost while your membership is active.
Who are your designs created for?

Do you use AI to create your artwork and designs?
Yes. We believe in being transparent that AI is part of our creative process.
Our founder, Katie, used her own original, hand-painted artwork to develop a custom AI profile that reflects her personal painting style, colour palettes and artistic aesthetic. She provides the concepts, creative direction and detailed prompts, then carefully selects and refines the finished designs.
Although AI helps us create and expand our collections, the signature style behind the artwork was developed through years of painting, illustrating and designing. AI is a creative tool within our process—not a replacement for Katie’s artistic experience, ideas or direction.
Digital Products
What will I receive with my purchase?
You will receive the digital file or files listed in the individual product description. Depending on the product, your purchase may include PNG, JPG, PDF or other digital file formats.
Please read the complete product description before purchasing so you know exactly what is included.
Will I receive a physical product?
No. All products sold by The Preppy PNG are digital downloads unless a listing specifically states otherwise. Nothing will be printed or shipped to you.
Any product photographs or mockups are for display and inspiration purposes only.
How do I access my files?
After completing checkout, you will receive instructions for downloading your files. Your purchases may also be available through your customer account when you are signed in.
Please make sure your email address is entered correctly during checkout.
I did not receive my download. What should I do?
First, check your spam, junk or promotions folder. You can also sign in to your customer account and look for your order or available downloads.
If you still cannot access your files, please contact us with your name, email address and order number so we can assist you.
Do I need special software to use the files?
This depends on the product and what you plan to create. PNG and JPG files can be used with many common design programs and cutting-machine applications. Templates, embroidery files or other specialized products may require compatible software.
Please confirm that the file type listed in the product description works with your software and equipment before purchasing. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every program, printer, cutting machine or embroidery machine.
Can you change the colours or customize a design for me?
Customizations are not included with a standard digital purchase. If customization is available, it will be listed separately or announced on our website.
You are welcome to contact us to ask whether a particular change is possible.
Can colours look different when printed?
Yes. Colours may vary between screens, printers, inks, fabrics, papers and other materials. Your final results can also be affected by your printer settings and colour profile.
We recommend creating a test print before producing a large quantity of products.
Membership
How does the membership work?
Members receive access to eligible digital products included in their membership while it remains active.
To download an eligible product, sign in to your account, add the product to your cart and complete the free checkout process. Your membership discount will reduce the price of eligible products according to the terms of your plan.
Products that are not included in the membership will remain available for purchase at their regular price.
Does my membership include everything in the shop?
Yes! Your membership includes every digital product available in The Preppy PNG shop. While your membership is active, you can download any product in the shop at no additional cost.
Simply sign in to the account connected to your membership, add the products you would like to your cart and complete the free checkout process to access your files.
Do I need to complete checkout for free member products?
Yes. You must be signed in to the account connected to your membership. Add the eligible products to your cart and complete the free checkout so the files are added to your order history.
Can I purchase products without becoming a member?
Yes! You do not need a membership to shop with us. Our products can also be purchased individually at the price displayed on their listings.
When will I be charged?
Your membership automatically renews according to the billing frequency you selected when joining, such as monthly, quarterly or annually. The price and renewal frequency will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You may cancel your membership at any time through your customer account or by contacting us for assistance.
After cancellation, you will continue to enjoy your membership benefits until the end of your current paid billing period. Your membership will not renew, and no additional payments will be charged.
If you choose to reactivate your membership later, the original price is not guaranteed. You will rejoin at the membership price available at that time.
To avoid another charge, please cancel before your next scheduled renewal date.
Will my membership price always stay the same?
Membership prices may change as new products, resources and benefits are added. We do not guarantee that the price available when you first join will remain available indefinitely.
If you cancel your membership and decide to rejoin later, you will be charged the membership price offered at that time. Your previous price is not guaranteed and cannot be restored unless otherwise stated in a specific promotion.
Any changes affecting an active membership will be communicated in accordance with our membership terms.
Will I receive a refund if I cancel?
Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment that has already been processed.
Because membership benefits and digital products are available immediately, membership payments are generally non-refundable. Please review our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy for complete details.
What happens to the products I downloaded if I cancel?
You may continue using products that you properly downloaded through your account while your membership was active, subject to the commercial-use terms that applied at the time of download.
You will no longer be able to download additional member products without purchasing them individually or restarting your membership.
Can I download the entire shop and then cancel?
Yes. While your membership is active, you are welcome to download as many products from the shop as you would like—even the entire collection!
If you cancel, you may continue using the products you downloaded during your active membership in accordance with our Commercial Use Terms. However, you will lose access to new products and future downloads when your paid membership period ends.
Automated downloading, sharing your account or redistributing the original digital files is not permitted.
Can I share my membership?
No. Memberships are intended for one customer or business and may not be shared with friends, family members or other businesses.
Please do not share your account login information or distribute the original digital files to anyone else.
Will the membership price ever change?
Membership pricing may change as new products, resources and benefits are added. Any applicable pricing information will be communicated in accordance with the membership terms.
Unless otherwise stated, a price change will not affect a billing period that has already been paid.
Personal and Commercial Use
Can I use your designs for personal projects?
Yes. You may use our designs to create personal projects and gifts, provided you do not share, sell or redistribute the original digital files.
Can I use your designs for commercial purposes?
Yes! Your purchase or membership download includes commercial use for creating and selling finished physical products, print-on-demand products and permitted finished digital products.
Examples include clothing, signs, mugs, stationery, invitations, stickers, accessories, printable products and other completed goods. For digital products, the artwork must be incorporated into a new, completed design and provided in a flattened format so the original elements cannot be extracted or reused.
You may also use our designs in online editing platforms such as Templett or Corjl to create editable products for your customers. Our artwork must be incorporated into a completed design and securely locked so customers cannot extract, download or reuse the individual artwork elements. Customers may personalize the finished design, but they may not receive access to our original files.
You may not resell, share, redistribute or give away our original files—or sell them as standalone clipart, seamless patterns or other competing design resources.
Your purchase grants you a license to use the designs according to our Commercial Use Terms; it does not transfer ownership or copyright of the original artwork to you. Please review our complete Terms of Use and Commercial License before selling products made with our designs.
Can I use the designs for print-on-demand products?
Yes, provided the design is used on a finished physical product and the original digital file cannot be accessed or extracted by the customer.
You are responsible for confirming that your chosen print-on-demand company permits you to upload and use properly licensed artwork.
Can I use the designs in digital products?
You may use the designs within a new, flattened and completed digital product when permitted by our Commercial License. Your finished product must contain significant creative contribution and must not allow the original artwork to be extracted, edited or reused.
You may not sell, share or redistribute our artwork as standalone clipart, digital paper, seamless patterns, design resources or files that compete with the original product.

Can I use the artwork in logos or branding?
You may use our artwork as a decorative part of your branding where permitted, but you do not receive exclusive rights to the artwork. The same design may be purchased and used by other customers.
Our standard license does not permit you to trademark or claim exclusive ownership of our artwork.
Can I use the designs for embroidery or appliqué?
You may use the artwork for creating finished embroidered or appliquéd physical products for your embroidery business or for personal use, subject to our Terms of Use.
You may not convert our artwork into an embroidery, appliqué or cutting file and then sell or distribute that digital file unless you have received specific written permission or purchased a license that expressly permits it.
Can I alter the designs?
You may resize, crop, add wording, combine elements and make reasonable adjustments when creating an approved finished product.
Changing the colour, adding text or making another alteration does not give you ownership of the original artwork or permission to resell it as a digital design resource.
Can I sell transfers, decals or stickers featuring your designs?
You may sell finished, ready-to-use physical items such as printed stickers or permanently applied decals when allowed by the Commercial License.
You may not sell products that function primarily as a way for another business to reproduce the design—including sublimation transfers, DTF transfers, screen-print transfers or similar production materials—unless the applicable license expressly permits it.
Can I resell or share the original files?
No. You may not resell, share, copy, trade, give away, upload or redistribute the original files or any lightly modified version of them.
This includes sharing files in Facebook groups, membership libraries, shared drives, design bundles or with friends, customers, contractors and other businesses.
Can I claim the artwork as my own?
No. Copyright and ownership of the original artwork remain with The Preppy PNG and its creator. Purchasing or downloading a product gives you permission to use it according to the license; it does not transfer copyright or authorship.
Are the designs exclusive?
No. Unless a product is specifically sold as an exclusive design, the same artwork may be purchased and used by multiple customers.
Orders, Refunds and Exchanges
Do you accept returns, refunds or exchanges?
Due to the instant-access nature of digital products, all digital sales are generally final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for files that have already been delivered or downloaded.
If you receive the wrong file, a file is missing or there is a technical problem with your purchase, please contact us. We will be happy to help correct the issue.
What if I accidentally purchase the same design twice?
Please contact us as soon as possible with both order numbers. Duplicate purchases will be reviewed individually, but a refund cannot be guaranteed once digital files have been accessed or downloaded.
What if I purchase a file that is not compatible with my software?
Customers are responsible for checking the included file formats and software requirements before purchasing. Refunds generally cannot be provided because a customer does not have compatible software or equipment.
If you are unsure whether a product will work for you, please contact us before purchasing.
Can I cancel a digital-product order?
Because digital files are often delivered immediately, digital-product orders generally cannot be cancelled after checkout.
Troubleshooting and Support
Can you help me use my design software, printer or embroidery machine?
We are happy to answer questions about the files you purchased, but we may not be able to provide technical support for every program, printer, cutting machine, embroidery machine or print-on-demand platform.
Please consult the instructions or support team for your specific software or equipment when needed.
What should I do if a ZIP file will not open?
Make sure the entire file has finished downloading before trying to open it. You may need to extract or unzip the folder using your computer or device.
If you continue to experience problems, try downloading the file on a desktop or laptop computer. You may also contact us for assistance.
May I contact you before purchasing?
Absolutely! If you have a question about a product, file format, membership or license, please contact us before placing your order. We want you to feel confident that the product is suitable for your project.
